สำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ร่วมกับสมาคมญี่ปุ่นศึกษาแห่งประเทศไทย (Japanese Studies Association of Thailand: JSAT) และ The Japan Foundation กำหนดจัด การประชุมวิชาการสมาคมญี่ปุ่นศึกษาแห่งประเทศไทย ระดับชาติ ครั้งที่ 20 และนานาชาติ ครั้งที่ 1 (The 20th National and 1st International Conference of the Japanese Studies Association of Thailand: JSAT 2026) ภายใต้หัวข้อ “ญี่ปุ่นและความยั่งยืนระดับโลก: ความร่วมมือเพื่ออนาคตร่วมกัน (Japan and Global Sustainability: Partnerships for a Shared Future)” ระหว่างวันที่ 5–6 พฤศจิกายน 2569 ณ อาคารพลเอกสำเภา ชูศรี มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จังหวัดเชียงราย ในรูปแบบ Hybrid Conference

การประชุมวิชาการครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นเวทีนำเสนอและแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ ผลงานวิจัย และมุมมองทางวิชาการด้านญี่ปุ่นศึกษา ตลอดจนส่งเสริมความร่วมมือและการสร้างเครือข่ายทางวิชาการระหว่างนักวิชาการ นักวิจัย คณาจารย์ นักศึกษา และผู้ปฏิบัติงานจากประเทศไทย ญี่ปุ่น และประเทศต่าง ๆ ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ โดยมุ่งเน้นประเด็นเกี่ยวกับบทบาทของญี่ปุ่นต่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ความร่วมมือในภูมิภาคอาเซียน และแนวทางการสร้างอนาคตร่วมกันอย่างยั่งยืน

ภายในวันที่ 5 พฤศจิกายน 2569 จะมีพิธีเปิดการประชุม โดยผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. มัชฌิมา นราดิศร อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง กล่าวต้อนรับ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ พราวพรรณ พลบุญ นายกสมาคมญี่ปุ่นศึกษาแห่งประเทศไทย กล่าวรายงาน และ Mr. KURIYAMA Masayuki ผู้อำนวยการ The Japan Foundation กรุงเทพฯ กล่าวเปิดงาน จากนั้นมีการปาฐกถาพิเศษหัวข้อ “Japan’s roles in promoting sustainable regional development in Southeast Asia” โดย Professor SATO Jin จาก Institute of Advanced Studies on Asia, University of Tokyo

นอกจากนี้ ยังมี การเสวนาทางวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ (International Panel Session) หัวข้อ “From Partnership to Practice: ASEAN and Country Perspectives on Sustainable Development and Japan’s Engagement in Southeast Asia” ซึ่งเปิดพื้นที่ให้ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากประเทศในอาเซียนร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ความร่วมมือในภูมิภาค และบทบาทของญี่ปุ่นต่อการพัฒนาเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้

สำหรับวันที่ 6 พฤศจิกายน 2569 มีการปาฐกถาพิเศษ (Keynote Speech) หัวข้อ “Japan’s experiences in resource and environmental management” โดย Dr. Nagata Kenji, JICA Senior Advisor พร้อมด้วยการนำเสนอผลงานวิชาการกลุ่มย่อย (Parallel Sessions) และการนำเสนอผลงานนิทรรศการ (Poster Session) เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้แลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และผลงานทางวิชาการอย่างหลากหลาย

ทั้งนี้ JSAT 2026 เปิดรับ บทคัดย่อ บทความฉบับสมบูรณ์ และผลงานประเภทโปสเตอร์ จนถึงวันที่ 15 กันยายน 2569 ผู้สนใจสามารถศึกษารายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับการประชุม การลงทะเบียน และการส่งผลงานได้ที่ เว็บไซต์ JSAT 2026 https://jsat2026.mfu.ac.th/ หรือ Facebook Page: JSATMFU2026

การจัดประชุม JSAT 2026 นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งเวทีสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการด้านญี่ปุ่นศึกษาในระดับชาติและนานาชาติ รวมถึงการเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้ด้านญี่ปุ่นศึกษากับประเด็นความยั่งยืนและความท้าทายร่วมของภูมิภาค เพื่อสร้างโอกาสในการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้และพัฒนาเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศไทย ญี่ปุ่น และประเทศในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ต่อไป

School of Social Innovation, MFU, JSAT and The Japan Foundation to Co-host JSAT 2026

The School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), in collaboration with the Japanese Studies Association of Thailand (JSAT) and The Japan Foundation, will host the The 20th National and 1st International Conference of the Japanese Studies Association of Thailand (JSAT 2026) under the theme “Japan and Global Sustainability: Partnerships for a Shared Future.” The conference will take place on 5–6 November 2026 at the General Samphao Chusri Building, Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai, Thailand, in a hybrid format.

The conference aims to provide a platform for the presentation and exchange of academic knowledge, research findings, and perspectives in Japanese studies, while strengthening academic collaboration and networks among scholars, researchers, faculty members, students, and practitioners from Thailand, Japan, and Southeast Asia. The conference will focus on Japan’s role in sustainable development, ASEAN regional cooperation, and pathways towards a shared and sustainable future.

On 5 November 2026, the conference will begin with the Opening Ceremony. Asst. Prof. Dr. Matchima Naradisorn, President of Mae Fah Luang University, will deliver the welcome remarks, followed by a report by Asst. Prof. Prawphan Pholboon, President of the Japanese Studies Association of Thailand. The opening address will be delivered by Mr. KURIYAMA Masayuki, Director of The Japan Foundation, Bangkok.

The programme will feature a special keynote address entitled “Japan’s roles in promoting sustainable regional development in Southeast Asia” by Professor SATO Jin of the Institute of Advanced Studies on Asia, University of Tokyo. Another major highlight is the International Panel Session, entitled “From Partnership to Practice: ASEAN and Country Perspectives on Sustainable Development and Japan’s Engagement in Southeast Asia.” The session will bring together distinguished speakers to exchange perspectives on sustainable development, regional cooperation, and Japan’s engagement in Southeast Asia.

On 6 November 2026, Dr. Nagata Kenji, JICA Senior Advisor, will deliver a keynote speech entitled “Japan’s experiences in resource and environmental management.” The programme will also include Parallel Sessions and a Poster Session, providing opportunities for participants to present research findings and exchange academic knowledge and perspectives.

JSAT 2026 is accepting abstracts, full papers, and poster presentations until 15 September 2026. Researchers, scholars, students, and interested participants are invited to submit their academic work and participate in this international academic forum.
