The School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University, is pleased to announce a Public Seminar Series entitled:
“Conflict, Security, and Borders: Case Studies of Southeast Asia (Myanmar), the Caribbean (Grenada), and Africa (Uganda) — Contemporary Challenges and Future Development in an Era of Uncertainty, Insecurity, and Unsustainability.”
This seminar series aims to provide comparative perspectives on conflict, security, and border issues across different regions of the world. Through selected country case studies, participants will gain insights into historical backgrounds, current challenges, and future development pathways in the context of global uncertainty and unsustainability.
The seminar series will feature presentations by graduate students from the MA Program in International Development, School of Social Innovation, as follows:

Each session will cover the background and historical context of the selected country, current affairs related to borders, conflict, and security, as well as key challenges and future development prospects in an era marked by uncertainty, insecurity, and unsustainability.
The seminar series is organized and moderated by Dr. Nichan Singhaputargun, School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University.
The public, students, faculty members, and interested individuals are warmly invited to attend this seminar series and engage in critical discussions on global conflict and development issues
