สำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม มฟล. เจ้าภาพ QSIF 2026 ระดมนักศึกษา 5 สถาบันถกอนาคตโลกยุคผันผวน

สำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) จัดโครงการประชุมวิชาการนักศึกษานานาชาติ The 5th Quad Student International Forum 2026 (QSIF 2026) หัวข้อ "Reimagining Global Futures: Sustainability, Security, and Society in the Age of Uncertainty" ระหว่างวันที่ 3-4 กันยายน 2569 ณ ห้องประชุมประดู่แดง 1 อาคารพลเอก สำเภา ชูศรี (E4) มฟล. และพื้นที่ภาคสนามอำเภอเชียงแสน จังหวัดเชียงราย มีคณาจารย์ นักวิจัย เจ้าหน้าที่ และนักศึกษาจาก 5 สถาบันเข้าร่วมกว่า 100 คน

พิธีเปิดมีอาจารย์ ดร.สว่าง มีแสง อาจารย์ประจำสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม กล่าวรายงาน และผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธนิกุล จันทรา คณบดีสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม กล่าวเปิดงาน

โครงการ QSIF จัดต่อเนื่องมาตั้งแต่ปี 2564 ภายใต้ความร่วมมือทางวิชาการเพื่อพัฒนานักศึกษาสาขาการพัฒนาระหว่างประเทศ ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ รัฐศาสตร์ และรัฐประศาสนศาสตร์ สับเปลี่ยนเจ้าภาพระหว่าง 4 สถาบัน ได้แก่ สำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม มฟล. คณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ คณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ และคณะรัฐศาสตร์และรัฐประศาสนศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ปีนี้ มฟล. เป็นเจ้าภาพ และวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ร่วมหารือความร่วมมืออย่างเป็นทางการเพื่อเข้าเป็นเครือข่ายเพิ่มเติม

ภายในงานมี ปาฐกถาพิเศษ หัวข้อ "Reimagining Global Futures: Human Security, Food Sustainability, and Regional Resilience" โดยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ศิริพร วัชชวัลคุ ที่ปรึกษาสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม และอาจารย์ประจำคณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ตามด้วย เสวนาวิชาการ หัวข้อ "Conflict, Climate, and Crisis: Reimagining International Relations and International Development under Radical Uncertainty" โดยตัวแทนคณาจารย์จากทั้ง 5 สถาบัน

นอกจากนี้มีนักศึกษานำเสนอผลงานวิชาการแบบ Oral Presentation โดยแบ่งเป็น 4 ห้องย่อย ครอบคลุมความยั่งยืนและการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ธรรมาภิบาลและความมั่นคงโลก เทคโนโลยีและสังคมดิจิทัล และเศรษฐกิจกับการพัฒนาชุมชน ปิดท้ายด้วยพิธีมอบรางวัลผลงานดีเด่น การประชุมหารือแนวทางจัดกิจกรรมปีถัดไปร่วมกับตัวแทน 5 สถาบัน กิจกรรม Campus Tour เยี่ยมชมหอประวัติและลานดาว มฟล. และงานเลี้ยงต้อนรับพร้อมการแสดงดนตรีไทย-พื้นเมือง

สำหรับกิจกรรมในวันถัดไปการกิจกรรมภาคสนามที่อำเภอเชียงแสน จังหวัดเชียงราย ทัศนศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์การค้าชายแดนบริเวณสามเหลี่ยมทองคำ พิพิธภัณฑ์บ้านฝิ่น วัดเจดีย์หลวง พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติเชียงแสน และวัดป่าสัก โดยมีนายกฤตดนัย สมบัติใหม่ ศิลปินและผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านหัตถกรรมล้านนา และอาจารย์ ดร.สว่าง มีแสง เป็นวิทยากร

"โครงการนี้เป็นเวทีสำคัญที่ช่วยพัฒนาศักยภาพทางวิชาการของนักศึกษา ทั้งการนำเสนอผลงานเป็นภาษาอังกฤษและการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบัน ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับพันธกิจของสำนักวิชาในการผลิตบัณฑิตที่มีความพร้อมสู่เวทีนานาชาติ" ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธนิกุล จันทรา คณบดีสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม กล่าว

มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง โดยสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม มีนโยบายสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างสถาบัน เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพการเรียนการสอนและเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ในเวทีวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ

School of Social Innovation, MFU Hosts QSIF 2026, Bringing Students from Five Universities to Discuss Global Futures

School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University's (MFU) hosted the opening of the 5th Quad Student International Forum 2026 (QSIF 2026) under the theme "Reimagining Global Futures: Sustainability, Security, and Society in the Age of Uncertainty," on September 3, 2026, at the Pradu Daeng Meeting Room 1, General Sampao Choosri Building (E4). The forum gathered over 100 faculty members, researchers, staff, and students from five higher education institutions.

Dr. Sawang Meesaeng, lecturer at the School of Social Innovation, delivered the reporting address, followed by opening remarks from Assistant Professor Dr. Thanikun Chantra, Dean of the School of Social Innovation.

Established in 2021, QSIF is a collaborative academic initiative designed to develop students in international development, international relations, political science, and public administration. Hosting duties rotate among four founding institutions: MFU’s School of Social Innovation; Thammasat University's Faculty of Political Science; Prince of Songkla University's Faculty of Political Science; and Chiang Mai University's Political Science and Public Administration. As host this year, MFU also welcomed Khon Kaen University’s International College for formal discussions regarding its entry into the network.

The forum featured a keynote address titled "Reimagining Global Futures: Human Security, Food Sustainability, and Regional Resilience" by Professor Dr. Siriporn Wajjwalku, Advisor to MFU’s School of Social Innovation and faculty member at the Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University. This was followed by a panel discussion, "Conflict, Climate, and Crisis: Reimagining International Relations and International Development under Radical Uncertainty," featuring faculty representatives from all five participating institutions.

Student research was delivered through oral presentation sessions across four parallel tracks: Sustainability and Climate Change, Governance and Global Security, Technology and Digital Society, and Economy and Community Development. The opening day concluded with an outstanding paper awards presentation, a network planning meeting for next year's forum, a campus tour, and a welcome dinner featuring Thai-Lanna music performances.

"This forum provides an important platform to develop students' academic capacity, support research presentations in English and build collaborative networks across institutions, in line with our commitment to prepare graduates for international environments," stated Dean Thanikun Chantra.

Participants will engage in field study activities on September 4, 2026 in Chiang Saen District, Chiang Rai Province, focusing on borderland history and local economic development, around the Golden Triangle and Chiang Saen's historical sites, guided by Mr. Krittadanai Sombatmai, a Lanna artisan and expert, alongside Dr. Sawang Meesaeng.

Through the School of Social Innovation, MFU continues to expand academic partnerships with partner institutions to enhance learning quality and provide students with opportunities on international academic platforms.
