Strengthening Academic Partnerships towards Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship

The School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University (Thailand) and the Faculty of Philosophy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the Indonesia Strategic Collaboration Visit Project 2026.

The MoU was signed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanikun Chantra, Dean of the School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University, and Prof. Dr. Rr. Siti Murtiningsih, S.S., M.Hum., Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Universitas Gadjah Mada, marking a shared commitment to strengthening international academic cooperation between the two institutions.

This partnership lays the foundation for long-term collaboration in joint research, student and faculty mobility, academic exchange, international publications, and capacity building, while promoting innovative approaches to sustainable development and regional engagement.

Together, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to advancing quality higher education and building meaningful global partnerships that contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
