Soc. In Field School 2026 = Completed!
18–20 February | 3 days, 2 nights | Mae Sai & Chiang Saen
Sixteen students (with priority for first-years
) joined this year’s Field School to learn directly from the field — not just from slides.
We explored:
Toxic contamination issues
River flooding in border areas
How geopolitics shapes environmental realities in the Mekong region
From site observations to community conversations, students experienced how environmental risks are connected to regional politics and everyday life in Chiang Rai’s border districts.
No registration fee. Just real field exposure, critical discussion, and meaningful learning outside the classroom.
Big appreciation to Assistant Dean Aj. Krit Khanabsakdi, Assit. Prof. Pathompong Manohan, and all participants who made this happen ![]()
