ได้ร่วมเป็นผู้เสวนาในกิจกรรมเสวนาวิชาการ และนิทรรศการ เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้านกฎหมายให้กับสังคม ในหัวข้อ "แร่พิษไหลข้ามพรมแดน: กฎหมาย การตรวจสอบย้อนกลับ และสิทธิในการคุ้มครองแม่น้ำกก–สาย–รวก–โขง" ในวันจันทร์ที่ 22 กันยายน 2568 เวลา 09.00–12.00 น. ณ ห้องประดู่แดง 1 ชั้น 5 อาคารพลเอกสำเภา ชูศรี (E4)
ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยสำนักวิชานิติศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง
การจัดเสวนานี้จัดขึ้นด้วยความตระหนักถึงความเร่งด่วนของปัญหาแร่พิษที่ไหลข้ามพรมแดนและส่งผลกระทบต่อระบบนิเวศน์แม่น้ำสายสำคัญในอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง โดยเฉพาะแม่น้ำกก แม่น้ำสาย แม่น้ำรวก และแม่น้ำโขง ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งน้ำที่มีความสำคัญต่อชุมชนและระบบเศรษฐกิจในหลายประเทศ โดยโครงการนี้มีความมุ่งหวังให้เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และประสบการณ์ระหว่างผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากหลากหลายสาขา เพื่อหาแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาอย่างยั่งยืนและสร้างกลไกการคุ้มครองสิทธิของชุมชนที่ได้รับผลกระทบ
กิจกรรมในช่วงเช้ามีเสวนาวิชาการ โดยวิทยากรผู้เชี่ยวชาญ อาจารย์ ดร.พีท หอมชื่น อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาวิศวกรรมเหมืองแร่และปิโตรเลียม คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย คุณธารา บัวคำศรี Climate Connector อาจารย์ ดร.สืบสกุล กิจนุกร อาจารย์ประจำสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง อาจารย์อริศรา เหล็กคำ รองคณบดีสำนักวิชานิติศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จากนั้นในช่วงบ่ายเป็นการประชุมหารือและสรุปข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบาย ณ ห้อง E4A-515 ชั้น 5 อาคารพลเอกสำเภา ชูศรี (E4)
Dr. Suebsakul Kitnukorn participated in a seminar and exhibition to promote academic collaboration and transfer legal knowledge to society. The event, titled "Transboundary Toxic Minerals: Law, Traceability, and Rights to Protect the Kok, Sai, Ruak, and Mekong Rivers," took place on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Pradu Daeng Room 1, 5th floor, General Sampao Chusri Building (E4), organized by the School of Law, Mae Fah Luang University.
This seminar was organized out of awareness of the urgency of the problem of transboundary toxic minerals flowing into the ecosystems of major rivers in the Greater Mekong Subregion, particularly the Kok, Sai, Ruak, and Mekong Rivers, which are vital water sources for communities and economies in many countries. The project aims to foster the exchange of knowledge and experiences among experts from various fields to find sustainable solutions and establish mechanisms to protect the rights of affected communities.
The morning session included an academic seminar. With expert speakers, Dr. Pete Homchuen, lecturer in the Department of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University; Ms. Tara Buakhamsri, Climate Connector; Dr. Suebsakul Kitnukorn, lecturer in the School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University, and Ms. Arisara Lekkham, Deputy Dean of the School of Law, Mae Fah Luang University. In the afternoon, a meeting was held in Room E4A-515, 5th Floor, General Sampao Chusri Building (E4), to discuss and summarize policy proposals.
