สำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จัดโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนวิชาการระหว่างนักศึกษาระดับนานาชาติ ในหัวข้อ "กิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ด้านพหุวัฒนธรรมและชายแดนศึกษา" กับ Takasaki City University of Economics ระหว่างวันที่ 7-11 กันยายน 2568 โดยมี อาจารย์ ดร.จารุวรรณ หัตถผสุ เป็นหัวหน้าโครงการ

โครงการนี้มุ่งเน้นการสร้างประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้แบบบูรณาการระหว่างนักศึกษาไทยและญี่ปุ่น ผ่านการศึกษาพหุวัฒนธรรมในบริบทของพื้นที่ชายแดนไทย-ลาว-เมียนมา พร้อมทั้งเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาทั้งสองประเทศได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองและประสบการณ์ทางวิชาการ

โดยมีพิธีต้อนรับคณะนักศึกษาจากประเทศญี่ปุ่น โดย อาจารย์ ดร.จารุวรรณ หัตถผสุ และนักศึกษาสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง พร้อมจัดกิจกรรมทำความรู้จักและแลกเปลี่ยนหัวข้อทางวิชาการที่น่าสนใจก่อนเริ่มออกเดินทางไปทั่วจังหวัดเชียงรายเพื่อเรียนรู้ด้านพหุวัฒนธรรมและชายแดนศึกษา

นักศึกษาจากโครงการได้ลงพื้นที่และเก็บข้อมูลณ โครงการพัฒนาดอยตุง เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และคุณปู่ - Life Museum เพื่อเรียนรู้วิถีชีวิตและวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่น เยี่ยมชมวัดร่องขุน เพื่อศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์และวัฒนธรรมพื้นถิ่น ตามด้วยการเก็บข้อมูลณ อาข่าฮิล อาขามิโนคอฟฟี่ และอาข่าคอสเทจคอฟฟี่ เพื่อศึกษาการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจชุมชนและการเกษตรยั่งยืน

และศูนย์ช่วยเหลือแรงงานข้ามชาติจังหวัดเชียงราย โดยรับฟังการบรรยายจากวิทยากรนักเคลื่อนไหวแรงงานข้ามชาติ เพื่อทำความเข้าใจประเด็นสังคมชายแดน ตามด้วยการเยี่ยมชมพิพิธภัณฑ์เฉลิมพระเกียรติ "หอฝิ่น" และสำรวจพื้นที่อำเภอแม่สายเพื่อเก็บข้อมูลเชิงลึก

โดยพิธีปิดโครงการมีอาจารย์ ดร.ธนิกุล จันทรา คณบดีสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม เป็นผู้กล่าวปิดงานและมอบกิตติบัตรให้แก่นักศึกษาผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการ เมื่อวันที่ 11 กันยายน 2568 เวลา 09.00 - 12.00 น. ณ ห้อง E4A 507 อาคารพลเอกสำเภา ชูศรี

โครงการแลกเปลี่ยนวิชาการนี้มีความสำคัญในการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาไทย-ญี่ปุ่น และเป็นการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้แบบสหวิทยาการที่จะช่วยเตรียมความพร้อมให้นักศึกษาเป็นพลเมืองโลกที่มีความเข้าใจในความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมและสามารถทำงานในสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรมได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
The School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University, organized an international student exchange program titled "Multicultural and Border Studies" with Takasaki City University of Economics from September 7-11, 2025. Project leader, Dr. Jaruwan Hatthaphasu, led the program.
This program focuses on creating an integrated learning experience between Thai and Japanese students through multicultural studies in the context of the Thai-Laos-Myanmar border area, providing opportunities for students from both countries to exchange perspectives and academic experiences.
A welcome ceremony was held for the Japanese students led by Dr. Jaruwan Hatthaphasu and students from the School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University. Activities included a meet-and-greet and exchange of interesting academic topics before embarking on a journey throughout Chiang Rai Province to learn about multiculturalism and border studies.
Students from the program visited the Doi Tung Development Project to study sustainable development approaches and the Grandfather - Life Museum to learn about local lifestyles and culture. They also visited Wat Rong Khun to learn about local history and culture. This was followed by data collection at Akha Hill, Akha Mino Coffee, and Akha Cottage Coffee, to study community economic development and sustainable agriculture.

and the Chiang Rai Migrant Workers Assistance Center. Attendees received lectures from migrant worker activists to gain insight into social issues at the border. This was followed by a visit to the "Hall of Opium" Chalermphrakiat Museum and a survey of Mae Sai District to gather in-depth information.

The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Thanikun Chantra, Dean of the School of Social Innovation, who delivered the closing remarks and presented certificates to participating students on September 11, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Room E4A 507, General Sampao Chusri Building.

This academic exchange program is important in building a network of academic cooperation between Thai and Japanese educational institutions and promoting interdisciplinary learning that will prepare students to become global citizens with an understanding of cultural diversity and the ability to function effectively in a multicultural society.
