Congratulations to Our Student Representatives! Closing 2025 with pride.
The School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) proudly congratulates our students selected as Thailand Representatives to the UNESCO Chair Kobe University Education Program 2025 (6–7 December 2025).
Soc-In students presented a critical Mekong Region analysis showing that disaster is NOT natural but shaped by structural vulnerability, gender inequality, and environmental degradation, directly engaging SDGs 3, 5, 6, 13, 14, and 15.
Representing MFU, our students engaged in substantive collaboration with peers from UGM (Indonesia), UTAR (Malaysia), NKUST (Taiwan), and Kobe University (Japan), contributing to comparative discussions on how safety and well-being are shaped by local governance, knowledge systems, and regional cooperation.
This year’s focus on AI for Education further reflects UNESCO’s direction toward inclusive and context-responsive learning.
We commend our students for advancing MFU’s academic standing on the global stage and for exemplifying the School of Social Innovation’s commitment to research-driven, socially grounded, and regionally engaged scholarship.
