At the School of Social Innovation, Ajarn Yasushi Negishi, Lecturer, teaches economics-related subjects across the Social Innovation curriculum. His academic background is grounded in international development and applied economics, with extensive professional experience working with development agencies and multilateral partners. His teaching focuses on economic systems, development planning, public policy, and analytical tools for understanding socio-economic change.
Ajarn Yasushi views the SDGs as a shared global framework that guides national priorities and development planning. Drawing on many years of experience in international development, he emphasizes that the SDGs become meaningful when they are collectively understood and applied by governments, development partners, and stakeholders. While each country adapts the SDGs to its own context, he recognizes that the framework provides coherence and direction across diverse policy agendas.
His key priority is SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). He highlights that stable economic growth creates jobs, increases household income, generates government revenue, and supports long-term investment in social development. In his view, economic growth forms the backbone that enables societies to expand opportunities and strengthen progress across the entire SDG agenda.

อาจารย์ ยาซุชิ เนกิชิ อาจารย์ประจำ ถ่ายทอดการเรียนการสอนรายวิชาด้านเศรษฐศาสตร์ในหลักสูตรของสำนักวิชานวัตกรรมสังคม โดยมีพื้นฐานทางวิชาการด้าน การพัฒนาระหว่างประเทศและเศรษฐศาสตร์ประยุกต์ พร้อมประสบการณ์การทำงานอย่างกว้างขวางร่วมกับ หน่วยงานพัฒนาและองค์กรพหุภาคี การสอนของเขามุ่งเน้น ระบบเศรษฐกิจ การวางแผนการพัฒนา นโยบายสาธารณะ และเครื่องมือเชิงวิเคราะห์ เพื่อทำความเข้าใจการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม
อาจารย์ยาซุชิมองว่า SDGs เป็น กรอบความร่วมมือระดับโลกที่ใช้ร่วมกัน เพื่อชี้นำลำดับความสำคัญของประเทศและการวางแผนการพัฒนา จากประสบการณ์ยาวนานด้านการพัฒนาระหว่างประเทศ เขาเน้นว่า SDGs จะมีความหมายเมื่อ ภาครัฐ หุ้นส่วนการพัฒนา และผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย มีความเข้าใจและนำไปใช้ร่วมกัน แม้แต่ละประเทศจะปรับใช้ SDGs ให้สอดคล้องกับบริบทของตนเอง แต่กรอบนี้ยังคงช่วยสร้าง ความสอดคล้องและทิศทาง ให้กับวาระนโยบายที่หลากหลาย
เป้าหมายหลักของเขาคือ SDG 8 (งานที่มีคุณค่าและการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ) โดยชี้ให้เห็นว่า การเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจที่มั่นคง ช่วยสร้างงาน เพิ่มรายได้ครัวเรือน สร้างรายได้ภาครัฐ และสนับสนุนการลงทุนระยะยาวด้านการพัฒนาสังคม ในมุมมองของเขา การเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจเป็น แกนหลัก ที่เอื้อให้สังคมขยายโอกาสและเสริมความก้าวหน้าครอบคลุมตลอดทั้งวาระ SDGs
