The School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University, in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), organized a public speaking event under the JICA Chair project on the topic "Japan's Contribution to Regional Peace and Prosperity." The event was opened by Dr. Thanikun Chantra, Dean, and coordinated by Dr. Pradit Chinudomsap.
The event was held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Room 811, General Sampao Chusri Building (E4), Mae Fah Luang University. Professor Dr. Nobuhiro Aizawa, from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies, Dean and Managing Director of the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) School of Government, was honored to serve as a special guest speaker. He shares insights on Japan’s role in promoting peace and prosperity across the ASEAN region.
The main objective of this event is to strengthen the relationship between Mae Fah Luang University and the Japan International Cooperation Agency, and to disseminate knowledge about Japan's role on the global stage and in the ASEAN region to faculty, students, and the general public. It also contributes to the development of academic cooperation between Thai educational institutions and international organizations, promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience that will benefit the region's sustainable development.

กิจกรรมครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นในวันพุธที่ 5 พฤศจิกายน 2568 เวลา 11.00 – 14.00 น. ณ ห้อง 811 อาคารพลเอกสำเภา ชูศรี (E4) มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก Professor Dr. Nobuhiro Aizawa จาก National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies ซึ่งดำรงตำแหน่งคณบดีและกรรมการผู้จัดการของ Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) School of Government มาเป็นวิทยากรบรรยายพิเศษ
การจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์สำคัญเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงกับองค์การความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศแห่งญี่ปุ่น รวมถึงเผยแพร่ความรู้เกี่ยวกับบทบาทของประเทศญี่ปุ่นในเวทีโลกและภูมิภาคอาเซียนให้แก่คณาจารย์ นักศึกษา และบุคคลทั่วไปที่สนใจ ทั้งยังเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาไทยกับองค์กรระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และประสบการณ์ที่จะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพัฒนาภูมิภาคอย่างยั่งยืน
